Tiësto’s Six-Hour Set For This Year’s Amsterdam Dance Festival

In the past two decades, many artists have come and gone but Tiësto remains not only one of the world’s most prolific and enduring artists, but one of music’s top innovators. Tiësto has in the past been voted “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and the “#1” DJ by Rolling Stone. He’s headlined festivals around the globe including Ultra Music Festival, Stereosonic, Coachella, Tomorrowland/TomorrowWorld and Electric Daisy Carnival. Now, Tiësto has announced that he will be doing an extended, six-hour set for this year’s annual Amsterdam Music Festival as part of ADE.

The performance also celebrates the 500th episode of his radio show Clublife. Now this is noteworthy because of Tiësto’s current style of music. The dance music icon will treat fans to an incredibly rare six-hour set, during which you can expect a range of surprise guests and collaborators to join him on stage to celebrate the milestone event. Nothing has been said about his set other than the duration, so everything here is just speculative. His fans still love his old trance records, and what bigger stage and opportunity than a six-hour set at one of the most important dance events in the world!!

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is a five-day electronic music conference and festival held annually in mid-October. The event is organized by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation and offers a full program of daytime conferences at ADE Pro, ADE Tech, HDE, ADE University, ADE Next, ADE Beamlab and ADE Green, alongside the nighttime ADE Festival which features 450 events and 2,200 artists over five days in 115 clubs and venues. The shows attract over 350,000 people from all over the world to the city, making Amsterdam one of the busiest clubbing cities in the world.
