Ever since their debut in 2007, electronic dance music duo, Krewella, consisting of Pakistani-American sister Jahan Yousaf and Yasmin Yousaf, have gone from strength to strength in cementing their position as one of the finest live/DJ electronic music acts in the dance music scene today. After a number of hits, including one studio album and two EPs, the sisters have now released their latest effort, “Team” via Columbia Records.

“Team” is driven by upbeat rhythms, infectious melodies and a feel-good vibe. While their pop driven sound in earlier music was the reason how they were able to gain a foothold on dance music, “Team” offers the catchiest vocal hook to date.

Regarding their new track, Yasmine told “This song is going to mean different things to everyone who hears it, but we wrote it from the perspective of not needing validation from anyone but your own self to feel good – not wasting time on people who will disrespect you over & over again – and just in general, shedding the negativity in your life. This song is not ‘no new friends’ it is ‘only real ones.’”

The music video for “Team” features the Yousaf sisters riding bikes around LA with their friends and taking a joy ride on a sailboat. The single features on Top 5 of Nexus Top Radio Chart singles.
