INFINITY HITMAKER, GURU JOSH PASSES

The rave star, Guru Josh made famous with his Infinity track that swept the states and Britain has passed.    The musician was originally born in Jersey and studied to become a dentist before moving to London in the 1980s where he played under the name of Joshua Cries Wolf.

It was after taking an ecstasy pill, provided by one of the audience members that made him decide to explore the club scene and create the hit with his band’s saxophone player.

After an album release, of the same name he moved to Ibiza and started a digital graphics and rave promotions company and side project Dr Devious.

“But what do I want to do for the rest of my life, keep churning out rubbish? Music has been good to me, but now I get more excitement out of setting up new businesses.

“I’m more like a mad inventor than a musician. About a year ago, I patented a new invention that’s being manufactured in China at the moment. It’s a big secret but you’ll know about it soon. People say it’s the next cat’s eyes.” said Guru Josh in a 2008 interview about the re-release of his famous track.

RIP- Guru Josh aka Paul Walden
