It’s not enough to be a superstar DJ at the tender age of 19, Martin Garrix is also on his way to owning his own label.
After splitting ways with Spinnin’ Records, we’ve been waiting to see what Garrix planned on doing next. Today, reports Your EDM, he announced on Dutch talk show DINO that he has plans to create his own new label. Several sources pointed them to the news on Twitter:

Watch a video of the announcement below. Unfortunately, it’s in Dutch (or fortunately, if you happen to speak Dutch), but here’s a translation of the really important bit, courtesy of Your EDM, courtesy of Aart van den Dool:
“The label is coming, it’s my own label”
everybody claps
The other guys asks: “What are you interested in?”
Martin: “I want different genres, not just one.”
So it looks like Garrix may be branching out a bit from the EDM umbrella! But we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds.
