A$AP Ferg has revealed an upcoming collaboration with Skrillex.

Skrillex is no stranger to skimmng through various genres to meet his musical needs. The founder of Ultra Music, Patrick Moxley, mentioned that he considered electronic Trap and Hip-Hop to be influencing the hot sound of the moment. Skrillex is no stranger to that concept. He’s worked with everyone from Dancehall artists, Trap DJs, to baby-faced Pop stars like J. Biebs, making this announcement no surprise.  According to Run the Trap, Ferg said:

“I got a crazy joint with Skrillex, this “New Levels” we’re gonna use to break the walls down for this new beginning, this new Trap Lord. I’m entering the Hood Pope now. I was the Trap Lord two years ago, I became the Hood Pope on y’all.”

Here’s to some great, innovative music coming fom these two. Skrillex has dealt with A$AP Mob previously when he took his remix of Birdy Nam’s song, “Goin In” and used it to produce “Wild For the Night” with ringleader, A$AP Rocky. He also joined Ferg and Diplo for a New Years Eve performance at Madison Square Garden back in 2014.
