A brief history of a house music queen…
In a few short years, Swedish wonder-woman Therese has crafted an international reputation for herself on the music scene – her signature tune ‘Put ‘em High’ is universally regarded as a 21st century dance classic, and continues to generate massive airplay to this day. ‘Put ‘em High’ reached No. 6 on the UK Top 40, and was followed by ‘Take Me Away’, another top ten dance/pop hit. In the USA, ‘Time’ scored an impressive No.21 placing on the Billboard Dance chart. Other records like ‘Neon Lights’ have become instant club classics, while ‘Feelin’ Me’ saw UK urban station Kiss FM proclaim her the ‘The Queen of Electro’.
Since then, she has toured extensively, performing at many of the biggest dance music events on the planet, from the Miami Winter Music Conference to the colossal productions of SuperMartXé Ibiza. She has closed the world-famous Sydney Mardi Gras, headlined her native Sweden’s biggest Pride festival and even presented a showcase of new material at London’s legendary Roundhouse venue.
In the past twelve months alone, Therese has embarked on a series of Ibiza club dates with Hed Kandi, been a permanent fixture on the performance schedule of Stockholm Fashion Week, performed at über-cool club events such as Shoreditch House as well as for London drag superstar, Jodie Harsh. She is currently putting together her live music showcase, which will see Therese deliver her dance hits in a fresh acoustic-meets-performance setting.
