Infernal is a Danish band, which made their national debut in 1997 with the release of the “Sorti de L’enfer” single.
Infernal’s music has been released in 35 countries, making the pop duo one of Denmark’s greatest musical export successes.
Infernal has sold a total of 1.7 million units, throughout their career and can boast that the single “From Paris to Berlin” features on 2.5 million compilations all over the world. Infernal was in the top 10 most played Danish artists abroad, with an impressive first place in 2007 and second place in 2006.
The song “From Paris to Berlin” was a huge hit in the UK and was in the top five of the British singles charts for seven weeks, reaching number two. The single was in the top 20 for 13 weeks and was the third best selling single of 2006, topped only by Gnarls Barkley and Sandi Thom. The single “From Paris to Berlin” also made it to a fabulous 1st place on the overall Music Week Pop Club Chart for 2006, ahead of international artists such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. “From Paris to Berlin” was also a huge hit in France with a top 10 position and over 150,000 singles sold.
