Anjulie became “obsessed with music” and was inspired to become a performer after watching Janet Jackson’s Velvet Rope Tour.[9] She opened for Jesse McCartney during his United States tour in 2009.[10][11] Her unreleased singles, “Rain”, “Crazy That Way”, and “The Heat” have been featured on the MTV television series The Hills[8] and “Addicted2Me” on The City.[11] The single “Boom” has been featured on ABC’s Eastwick, The CW’s Melrose Place,[12] The Vampire Diaries,[13][14] and Canada’s Next Top Model.[15]

Anjulie has toured with Shwayze and Bobby Ray aka B.o.B.,[16][17] toured Fall/Winter (2009–2010) with Raphael Saadiq,[14] and opened for Hedley on their tour in support of Storms.[18]

Anjulie is currently[when?] working on her latest international album that will include the tracks “White Lights”, “Brand New Bitch” (also known as “Brand New Chick”), “Stand Behind the Music”,[19] “Headphones”,[20] and “You and I”. In 2011, “Brand New Bitch” was certified as a platinum digital download in Canada for over 80,000 units sold,[21] and was nominated for Dance Recording of the Year at the 2012 Juno Awards.[22]

In support of her new single “You and I”, Anjulie is embarking on a 2012 You and I Tour, with shows in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Toronto, and Montréal.[23] It was announced that Universal Republic Records was going defunct, making artists from that label including Anjulie move from the roster to Republic Records making the label itself revived
